There are quite a few wildlife reserve/zoo type places in Australia where the kangas run free. You can buy little food pellets, like what you'd feed a goat, and the kangaroos just hop up to you and sometimes grab hold of your arm as they eat out of your hand. Their claws can be sharp though, and if you annoy them too much they will kick you. Hanging out with a bunch of 'roos can keep you entertained for hours. Definitely an experience I'd recommend.
